Using mouthwash to clean teeth is probably the most under used method of dental care used and something which i myself am guilty to. What people usually do is rinse their mouths with water and leave it at that. However mouthwash is vital for overall dental care and contains ingredients which water does not have.
For one, it freshens your breath and takes away any left over plaque and tartar that your brush took care of. Using water will only take away some of this, however mouthwash will always clean your mouth in a way which will leave your mouth feeling fresh and plaque free. Similar to the analogy of cleaning dishes in the house. You can take away residue from cutlery with warm water and will look like its clean, however there will be invisible grime and dirt that will cause long term build up of germs and other problems. So we use washing up liquid to ensure these germs are treated.
The same is true with teeth. To prevent teeth stains from occurring and stain build up, we will have to ensure these germs are fully removed with the use of mouth wash which treats our mouths on an overall way after brushing and flossing.
Again, a very basic and straight forward method of cleaning which has been advised for years by dentists but rarely applied. So to solve this is to start creating new habits when cleaning your teeth. Focus on applying this new habit every day for 30 days. Over the course of the 30 days, you wll start to find that it will become subconscious and will form a new habit that will ensure good tooth and overall dental care. Something which i explain in detail in my website.
So again, the best way to ensure good dental care and to prevent teeth stains is to ensure meticulous and careful maintenance of your teeth which will become a habit over time.
